F250 clunking noise ?

I keep on getting this clunking noise on the front left ---usually when you brake --- this dealership cant find the issue --they replace an abs assembly several months ago and they said the noise was fixed ---Not --- any ideas Jonny Boy

bruno, 2 or 4 wheel drive,, stock or aftermarket wheels,, gas or desiel. info please

4 wheel drive , deisel , stock wheels...... and it has 15,000 miles on her its and 2006 f250 6.0

did you gheck ball joints , tie rod ends, wheel bearings, & bushings

i hope the dealer did ...... the common things

dealerships suck, the mech dont get paid for diagnostic time so half of them say f%uck it!

Had a 96 once that had the same issues. No one could find the problem. Ended up being the lower shock bushing was gone. Worth a look.

my 95 f350 is making a noise done check all front end parts and can't find it I thinking it might be coming from a shock going to change them out see if it goes away

Check the sway bar links and sway bar bushings on the diff. I just put new sway bar bushings on my 99 F250 4x4 and tightened up the loose lower bolts in the end links. The clunking noises are gone. One other thing I have seen on these trucks - the seat tracks - as stupid as it sounds I have seen them clunk and snap too under braking.

Ball joints are high on the list of things to check, especially if they have never been replaced. Also check the front unitized wheel bearing assemblies.

My 99 superduty was doing same.Tie rod end bad.
