Early 429 long exhuast?

Could someone please tell me the numbers or send a pic of the exhaust that the CJ/ Police exhaust were based on?
I had these on my car but they were broken are long gone. They were produced in 1968-9.

The torino and mustang cj share the same passenger side manifold and the number is dooe 9430 a. The drivers side manifolds are different with the torino manifold exiting slightly upwards and the mustang manifold exiting downwards. The torino drivers side number is dooe 9431 a and the mustang drivers side number is d1ze 9431 ca1 or ca2. They can be had for about 5-600 dollars. The passenger side is very prone to cracking so get detailed pictures before making your purchase. The pi manifolds have a d2oe number and have slightly smaller port openings.

Thank you for the information. I was trying to get information on the preproduction that had been on my car, and yes the passenger was broken in two pieces and the driver cracked all the way through.

I tossed them before knowing they were anything special.

I am trying to find a set like them that were produced in 1968, I need the preproduction set.

Interesting,,,I have never heard of cj/pi style manifolds produced in 68 but if any were made they may have casting numbers with a sk prefix. Good luck in your search.

Yeah, this is Galaxie that has an engine with SK heads, intake, water pump and exhaust. My exhaust I tossed and my "restorer" stole my heads and bracket and some other pieces while I was battling cancer the first time.

As I don't have pics of the exhaust I was hoping someone did, it would help me in the hunt for what I need.

Did you ever check the ebay link with the SK intake, and see if the owner could scout around for your parts?

Look at the second link and then click on the c8oe-9430-b and c8oe-9430-d, they look to be for an early 429 or 460 not an fe.

Thanks for the link but those are sadly FE as the bolts are staggered and 429 are straight across.
