engine plate Empty engine plate

I have made the decision to take my car off the street and I'm going to use engine plates this time. My question is, is there any special degree that the motor should sit in my engine bay?

Any help would be great this will be my first plate combo as I have always used solid mounts I just want to do something different this time.

Ideally, crank axis parallel to the ground, so depending on chasis rake, the angle of engine to chasis could vary a lot. 33" tall slicks etc, even if tucked to roof line, could cause a huge variation in the body line/frame/subframe angle as compared to the engine.

Hey thanks, I will do some measuring and see what I can try and I will give him a call... I own a fab shop so I have the stuff to make my plates just wasn't sure of how it was supposed to sit in the bay.

Thanks again for the replies to my quest for more knowledge.
