Randy is painting it all Red with a white pearl roof. No lettering at this time is planned. His Catalina racecar is called PEER PRESSURE, Stems from his salvage yard and family name .......Peer. I suspect if it ever gets lettered it maybe the same.

Awesome Travis it looks great the only thing i'd change would be the straight carb inlet fittings for a set of 45 degree fittings so it would keep the braided line off the valve covers that way you could ditch the rubber hose as a scratch protecter and it would look even cleaner.

Car looks great. Really nice work...Love the wheels and stance.

...... my 63' Lemans is on the transport truck right now, it is even red also, kinda' weird watching this car come together, it does have a really sweet stance to it, what kinda' hood is going on it ??? .....

Travis,I remember an old f-800 log truck that my Dad had when I was a youngster.The scoop for some reason was turned backwards and set on the left side of the hood. I always thought the scoops were so cool.

What scoop are you talking about? The part that runs down the center? Like this one?

You are right. Thats the one I am speaking of. Here is a link to the F-600 scoop that is on ebay, only one I could find a good picture of. The Original Super Duty scoops must be a tad different judging by the ranting on some of the Pontiac sites about misrepresentation of them and F-600 Ford scoops. If you read the add, the seller represents it as an original then back tracks and adds that it is a F-600.
