head gasket question?

Can you use a regular fel-pro gasket kit with the stock head gaskets in a 12:1 compression 460? will the head gaskets hold up ?

No problem!
I've ran 14:7 for two yrs with stock gasket's and head bolts.
But the head and block was flat, Chase your threads so they are clean and you get a good TQ.

anyone else?

I ran them in my engine (14.5:1) for several years and never had a head gasket issue.

I ran stock gaskets on 460 with 11.6 c/r for 4 years never blew a head gasket and got stock head gaskets on my 552 with 14.7 c/r so far they still holding been on the engine about a 1 1/2 years.

Im running them in my engine at 14.25, not a problem fourth season on them,,, Like mentioned earlier, heads and block were true.
