On head valve spring tester

What valve spring tester does everyone use to check seat pressures with the heads on?

Is there a tester that can be used with the girdle on the head?

I have a LSM on, but you need to remove the girdle

I like the LSM one. I figured I would have to remove the girdle.

Would a good process be to 1st remove the girdle 2nd test the springs. 3rd re-install the girdle 4th recheck the valve lash?

What are other good engine maintenance procedures?

I have the moroso valve spring tester and have used it for years and its still good, I also have a bench valve spring tester and the hand tester is still spot on.

I have the Moroso. It works fine but the LSM piece is better by far.

That's a good sequence, other things are leak down tests and cutting and inspecting oil filters.

We also do a lot of leak downs on motors and cut open all oil filters.

Ok thanks. I have an oil filter cutter and a leak down tester.

I ordered the lsm tester.

I even cut filters on my old jeep.
