Need help finding valves for N351 heads...
Guys,
I have a set of N351 heads I'm trying to put together. The spec sheet calls for the following valves:
Ford Racing M-6505-A351 1.600" Premium Stainless Steel Exhaust Valve N351 Head
•Head Diameter: 1.600"
•Tip Length: 0.250"
•Total Length: 5.140"
•Material: Premium Stainless Steel
Ford Racing M-6507-A351 Premium Stainless Steel 2.02" Intake Valve
•Head Diameter: 2.020"
•Tip Length: 0.250"
•Total Length: 5.140"
•Material: Premium Stainless Steel
Problem is these valves are no longer available from FRPP. So I dug through the Manley catalog and the valves that Manley list for this specific head do not have the same overall and tip length. At this point I'm lost and need some guidance on what to do regarding which valves are the correct valves to get.

Already did. He suggested Manley.
The valves Manley has are either too long, have a longer tip length, or both. Confused on what to do. Need to check other valve suppliers too.
Just curious if someone put some together recently and figured this out already.

What problems would I have with these being .020 longer than what FRPP spec'd?

So just slightly longer pushrod then? Also, any speculation as to why the Manley valves are slightly longer and have a different tip length?
Some sort of advantage to be had with those valves since the head is to be run in a spec class?

.020" isn't any real advantage, not really an issue either..... May not need a longer pushrod, as it will depend on deck height, how much heads were cut..etc..etc..
Just check the geometry and get the right pushrod and it will be fine...
Different tip lenght is probably for use with lashcaps...

Those sizes are listed in the Ferrea catalog.
