I had to have them when I towed with our V8 explorer but I'm still going to use them on the 99 F250 4x4 I just bought...it doesn't really need them only towing 5000lbs but it makes the driving a lot more predictable. My truck has rear air bags as well.

That's a nice little trailer - a steel top is nice. Mine has wood decking and the tong is too short for a tool box. I thought about cutting off the A-frame and making it longer to add a tool box....Maybe when its warmer, we had 8" of wet sticky snow last night and its stuck to everything like shit to a wool blanket. Rolling Eyes
