Hurricane Harvey, Be safe!
Those of you on here living along the Texas coastline be careful. This could be a real bad one, even just the rainfall further inland has the potential to get deadly.

I am north of there. It got deep last night about 2 feet in garage, around a foot on the high ground of my street. House higher but it was close. It's going down some now if it quits raining.

It looks like Harvey may regroup in the Gulf and head your way. I would stock up on supplies and get ready just in case.

As long as we keep getting breaks where the drainage can keep up we will be ok. Last year it rained for 3 days straight then gave us 32" in 24 hrs. That was not good.

Kudos to Bass Pro Shops for stepping up during this time of need.
"The outdoor retail giant is coordinating with local, state and federal agencies, which includes police, fire and rescue teams on the ground, according to a news release. They will be providing over 80 Tracker boats to area government agencies and rescue organizations in Houston and surrounding communities that were impacted by Hurricane Harvey".
