Starting Systems

What starting systems are most people using on here for high compression 850-1000 horse bracket race engines? Watching Street outlaws it seems all those cars spin over very fast! Are they all 16 volt systems? If so what does everyone recommend?

I put a meziere on my 638 with a 16v system, it is the evilest starter I have ever owned.
But it was not inexpensive.
