Oil pan, pump combo- 598
Hey all. Been looking at oil pans and pumps, looking for a box style pan, full baffled and built in windage tray, wet sump. Moroso, canton, kevco, etc. We have a eliminator ultra block, 4.5 stroke with aluminum rods. What pan pump combo do you all like and why? Thanks cory

I second the pan from lem. I recently bought one. Haven't used it yet but it is a lot better than my old off the shelf pan for sure. Very fair pricing.

Thanks for the info will give lem a call. Wanted to go dry sump on this build, just don't have the extra cabbage!!!! We have a hi flow Dynamics pump in our current 557. Going to call Paul and see what pan he recommends as well. Both those guys are great to deal with!!!! Thank cory

I run a 632 with Moroso 20616 pan and Kaase pump with a small plate welded to the pickup tube to cover the hole for the pickup .....Kaase told me to do this. It turns that pan into a great pan with the bigger CI stuff so I am told! Good luck so far 5.0's and hoping for 4's naturally aspirated.

Away, I looked at that pan. But it requires a tilton starter and 184 t flywheel. At least that what info I found at summit. Would prefer to stay with standard flywheel size and my power master ultra torgue starter. Think I will probably go canton or get a quote from lem on a pan pickup combo. Thanks cory

I'm using the Moroso 20616 pan now with the standard flexplate and a regular PMGR starter. The same setup that I used on Lems aluminum pan before a wheel stand took it out. Its true that the pans are wider than a flanged pan.

Thanks to Lem, we got one of his custom pan and pickup assembly. Just like the one in the B F Evans Sticky. In the for sale section. Craftsmanship is top notch. Now for the pump, toss up between kaase or hfd. Had excellent results from Paul's stage 2 we have now. Cory
