You're Welcome. Every Big Block Ford guy ought to read it, I just stumbled into it with all the JC%! stuff.
Clint Neff Hope you do well in Dallas this weekend, and welcome back to Texas.

Ive been running the cylinder head on a 250ci four cylinder in Comp eliminator and Im now building the first 500 that I know of and I have a lot of knowledge on this engine combo. Hopefully youll enjoy the pics. Comment away! Im new to posting here and dont have a clue if my pics will even post or not.

Thanks for posting. Kinda painful to watch the host with the long pauses. He Could’ve asked a lot more questions but a lot of good info there volunteered by mr Morgan still.

Re: Ford JC51
You're welcome. Yes that's a 2-3 dayer. I want to know how much HP the block can hold?
You think that one was hard try this one. Lot of decent content from almost original 429/460 and the others, OG Larry Olsen on Pro Stock and Ford. Could use less gab also. I thought it was worth the watch though.

I believe Clint Neff went out on E3 by .0028 after qualifying #1 at 5.523 at 211 if I read the stat's correctly?
I think he did great and will only get better since he just switched rides.

Re: Ford JC51
I have to wonder, since several people in that article are claiming Ford will recast these heads, if Ford still has the casting tools to recast them? Also does anyone at know someone at Ford who might be able to confirm?

Re: Ford JC51
A quick update from my end, I reached out to Ford to see if they would be willing to recast the JC50 or JC51 heads and blocks, and it turns out they are not willing to do so, unless you are willing to pay an EXTREMELY sizeable cost upfront. So if there was anyone hoping to see these back in the Ford Catalog, I would not count on it.

Ford wants an upfront commitment of several hundred thousand dollars just for the retooling and a multi year deal worth more than that.

I am not sure about this or if you have seen it, 4Speed? It's the first time I have run across it and am just passing it on.

So that's what your secret project is. It looks awesome. Guess that's what you needed all those crankshafts for. You building a B/A ?
I got my A/R Boss Hemi running. Waiting on a clutch.
Are you going to make it to Gateway for the big comp shootout in the spring?
Kent
OP, Hear anything on the JC50 rumor?
I can see why it may be a surprize, it would be nice though.
That one for 36K, if it's not in the works looks nice.
The 59K ones, that's rough.
I wish a small CNC company would get some backing from Ford to Revise A Billet Block Heads and Crank for the 4,000+RVW World with Ford Part Numbers. With and With Out Water!
540 to 580 CID seems like a sweet spot but 528 CID has been Built for {The Pull/Ect. Trucks} with the Ford Parts and would fit the bill too.

I would be curious what JC50 rumor you're talking about? If it's what I am thinking or if it's something else entirely?

I looked into Bandimere about that time and did not see anything mentioned.
Could have read to much into it, what you got?
Either way it would be nice to see someone break out those pieces listed.
