tri power

i recently read a post on the net of a guy who had aquured a BBF Ford 429/460 385 series Tri-power assembly
i’m looking for a set up any body know of one available

Aren't we all. I have only seen a few pictures of them and only ever seen one for sale and it was part of a collection. I tried to just buy it but he wanted to sell everything.

I have only saw a picture of one and that was over 25 years ago .I believe it was in super ford and it might be over 30 years.Good luck !

Ford Motor Company had about 35 of those cast way back in the early 70's for prototype testing ... I am surprised there was that one remaining.

There is one out here on the west coast in a 41 Willys pick up. The owner has published a Ford Tri Power book. His is serial #3 or something like that. It is street driven and NOT for sale. Very rare and part of the Nascar 366CI engine development program. Yes Ford built some 366ci (385 series) versions. The SK log book says Nascar 366 next to the SK number given to the manifold.

On youtube is a video of "grandpa cobrajet" with his Torino King cobrajet.  It has one of those tri power units on it.
