Converter tabs broke Empty Converter tabs broke

Had some shenanigans while installing motor in my '69 Mustang. The converter mounting tab welds broke off (2)! So I pulled motor and sanded a few little burrs off converter and crank. It is a converter I've used before.  Luckily it wasn't "all installed and hooked up". Just had to take bell housing bolts out. Getting converter welded tomorrow.  Must have been slightly hung up.

I had to cut an access window in bottom of bell housing to put small vise grip on the broken tabs in order to get bolts out to separate engine.

^  The OP may have been who you intended the above question Mark, but, this may help and a good place for it.

Also has the P-51 deal that came out from the car, in the graph overlay. Sweet. Cool

You are more of a Mustang year Expert then Me likely, so correct, I believe, and the later with 4 headlights?

The actual weight at the line would be nice to know, but, if it's lighter than Dave's it may have a shot a 8.99 or Deep in the 9's I would suspect. study

You are correct, 1969 Mustang fastback. Weight is around 3500 lbs, complete car, not stripped down. We run at 4500 feet elevation most of the time, so slower than most cars on here. Was running 10.18 @ 133 back in 2017. Couple hundred hp ago. I am guessing mid 9 ish now (at elevation here). That is if we get car up and going before elk hunting starts, going to Wyoming in Sept and October.

My bad you said 69 Mustang in your first Post so it looks like your engine made 932 Horsepower Very Nice!!
