Tech seminar plans

Seems how we are closing in on the tech seminar I was wondering how everyone was planning on getting there. I am checking flights as well as map quest myself. Looks to be a 13 hours drive straight up 55 to 57. Flight prices aren't too bad but if I have to rent a car as well it would be cheaper to drive.

Is anybody else going from Louisiana?

Is there going to be anything else going on the days before? I could always come a day early, swing by and check out Chucks car progress, maybe go buy a new Ford from Lem, who knows...

It's only about 4.5 hrs. for me this year. Last year it was 6. Usually meet on Friday nite at the Local Steak house to eat,booz, and make fools of our selves. Fun though

Chuck's car is over on the other side of KY and nowhere near the seminar so that would be a wash. Tracy, Tiny and I plan on leaving for the HOE Friday morning sometime.

Hope to see you there and bring Lisa, she can hang out with Tracy

I checked the flights on the 15th to the 18th out of N.O. and it was $316 or $304 out of Lafayette (N.O. usually has better prices thats why I check). I have also been thinking of just driving. I am not supposed to go to work till the end of Jan so I could leave a day earlier and maybe go visit Dan, Damon, Chuck, Lem or Charlie or whoever else on the way.

I was thinking about going this year since it has been moved back. I doubt I go because I am trying to save money for a dyno run but if I did we could have met in Jackson, MS. I would have figured you would go straight-up I55.

Has there been a time and place set for the Friday evening meeting of the minds?

If I bring Lisa I will drive for sure. Can't really afford two flights but we don't mind the drive anyways.

I'm out. I just realized the 16th is when the Saints are playing their first playoff game. I've got tickets so I'll be going to that instead.

If it goes by priority then I'l stay home from both and work on the car!!! I am determined to get that thing running in 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing like making some plans and then work calls. I was just going to book my rooms when my boss called to go to work by College Station. It should be short so maybe I will be done by the time the seminar comes by.

Me,Blake and Hobbs are coming up that Friday morning,A couple other friends are coming with us too.Can't wait!!!Can you imagine the amount of B.S. that will pile up in 8 hrs. in that van. Heck the ride alone should be an experience!!!---RED

What are ya'll's stay over night plans, 1 night or 2 ?

Probably Friday and Saturday night................. Visit with the Wonder Twins and Bass Boat Bob on the way back on Sunday.

Someone bring a (back-HOE )to clean the bullshit up so they can get out of the van. Like to have a recording of those conversations
