no it want hurt anything it just don't help it crank any faster unless it is flooded bad you might want to pull a plug out and see if it is firing or not if it don't crank later

For some reason it did the other day.. Neutral

After I washed it... I drove it back home with no problem.

a bad dizzy cap will pick up moister after it is shut down and the engine cools off i have it happen before

Well it cranked up and I got it pulled in the driveway. Tried cranking it up again but it did it again.....wanted to crank but didn't and then sometimes while I turn it over it does one hard shake and turns off.
