What can one expect to pay to have the bowls worked over a bit on the exhaust side on some D3s?

Thinking about having mine ported, springs installed and valve spring height set.

Tough question to answer, slot depends on who's doing the work.

I paid $400 last year for a bit of work on my alum. edelbrocks. It would likely be close or a bit more for an iron head. The money would probably be better spent buying the tools and doing it yourself Very Happy

I would do it my self, but kind of have cold feet about doing it on my own.

Its times like these that I wish I knew someone near by that was experienced with building engines (Fords) and could give me in person guidance.

IMO spend the money on having the intake ported on instead. If you want to have them grind that thermactor hump out feel free but you'll see more gains from intake work than exhaust so that's the side I like to focus on.
