what autolight plug for scj heads?

Post  stanggt on August 17th 2011, 9:54 pm

What plugs are needed to run with scj heads with flattop 460 running 94 and 110 fuel. Searched but couldnt find any info.
Thanks

I'm thinking we used a 25 once, but not 100% on that. You could go to Autolite's website and find part # for stock replacement and go from there.

Straight thread, 3/4" reach, gasketed spark plug. Try the AR # 3934 with the 110 racing gas.

Presumeing that you were talking about the FRPP aluminum SCJ heads and not the OEM iron heads...

With a flat top piston you can run an extended tip spark plug #AR3911; (same heat range as a AR3934 but has an extended tip).

what about running a 3932 for a 16:1 motor (without N20)? Or is the 3932 too cold of a plug?

At 16:1 the 3932 should work....I assume you have a butt kicking ign box........not hotter than the 3933 at that high ratio i.m.o.
