Solid Roller Lifter Choices........

Post  dfree383 on Sat Aug 20, 2011 12:44 pm

Just thinking about avaliable lifters for a Regular BBF.

Comp Cams - Regular and Elite series.

Morel - Can never seem to find much info on them..... PBM the same?

Crower - Several Choices Hippo's Ect.

Isky - Several Choices, Red Zones and EZ roll stuff

Jesel - Offer some cool link bar ones plus their usual high end stuff, but the high end ones really aren't drop in's

Am I missing any ones worth mentioning? any opinions?

I'm avoiding mentioning some of the "Lower end" manufactures that offer some parts.

I have Jesel link bars. There is a difference if you want full tilt. Craig was having trouble keeping lifters alive until he made the switch.

Yea I did miss Lunati and Crane, But I didn't think Lunati offered anything "Special".... I'm not sure what Crane is offering if anything right now.

Just remember that when someone lables their product as someone else's, the quality may belong to the name and not the manufacturer.

I'd agree those are probably the Top Dog avaliable for a drop in Lifter, but they are about 25-50% more than most of the other top offerings for those that are $$$ Sensitive.

Very True, But Morel seems to be in stealth mode as far as products go.

Just to put some context to Craig's deal........he used the Crower .904" stuff for several years with good results with his C460 package. When he went to the Thor heads the intake lifters started to break.thus the move to Jesel .
