Track Rental Day

My buddy Dale aka quick52 here on the board invited me to go. So I figured I'll give it try since I got new M/T Drags on all four, caster camber plates installed and an alignment. So hopefully it'll 60' better with drag slicks opposed to the Hoosier QTP's which was 1.55-1.59's and not be so squirrelly like my last time out

I'll check in and update this evening hopefully with good results

That sux man, seems all you guys out there have had a ton of rain. Honestly I wish it would rain out a few more races here, we did get an inch last week but it sure aint nowhere what we need.

Well I got to do two passes today. 10.05 and an 07. Called it quits after the 2nd pass as I seen some tire rub on one of my new rear tires. Put a small groove down the center as the tire grew. So now I guess I'll have to get the torches out and make the wheel wells a little bit bigger. Probly done for this year Hopefully I'll get a chance to really open this biotch up some day

Well it's too bad that you only got in 2 passes, but at least you did get a chance to run it and see what you need to do. You'll have all winter to straighten out the tire rub issue and you can be ready to run in the spring.

I was at Ubly Saturday the 24th and ran a 10.05 as well. A few more changes and back at it on Oct 8th. Maybe you can make it? That's the Mustang event.

Take a cut off wheel to that wheel opening and trim it down. Then get back out there and click off a 9 sec pass!

Yeah John thats the plan and I'll fix it nicer through the winter..........9 second pass I like that hehe

It'll be 1/4 mi TNT. They use the 1/8th during eliminations. I was there when the dragster set the new track record...1/4 mile.
