Anybody know what the ID is of the factory springs?
I would like to put some fresh springs on the heads, but do not want to have to machine the valve guides for different seals.

I am going to run
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-K3500/

What springs would be best to use, without having to pay to machine the heads?

I know I gave an answer on the other forum but, for those who missed it.
The stock spring is about 1" inner diameter with the flat dampner installrd ... about 1.070" with the dampner removed.
The FRPP # M-6513-A50 is an upgrade from production and pretty much a "drop-in".

D3\'s, factory spring seat cups.

Here I thought the springs just sat in their machined seats on the head.
