I need to change the trans fluid in my 95 F-150. I was wondering if type F will hurt my 4R70W or possibly help it a little.

Mercon is much more expensive than type F. Shocked

Anyone with experience on this?

DO NOT PUT F IN THAT TRANNY!!!!!!!


get some mercon V as the reg mercon is no longer made. the new mercon V is ok to use.

x2 on that it will work but it might make it 2 weeks or that what my aod did had the type f and used it boy what a mistake that was i would use mercon v
