thoughts on this 99 sd v10?

looking at this 99 sd tomarrow. i have a car for work but need a truck for hunting , yard work, and getting groceries lol

think i can get it for 5100


I am selling a nice 1999 Ford F-250 super duty crew cab four wheel drive truck. The truck has a 6.8l v10 engine 180k miles and a 5spd manual transmission. It is a solid truck that runs and drives perfect. I just put new front brake pads, a caliper, all four balljoints and a new clutch. Those repairs cost $2500.00. I have recently had it tuned up and all the fluids changed. About six months ago I had four brand new tires put on it, i bought the best tires they had, they cost $1300.00. This truck needs nothing. It has power windows and locks, a/c, cruise control, a matching fiberglass topper, running boards and a aftermarket cd player.The a/c blows ice cold and the heat hot, everything else works perfect on the truck as well. The interior of this truck is in good condition, with no major tears or stains. The exterior of this is truck is also in good shape, it has no major dents or rust. It is a 13yrs old truck and does have some door dings and etc, but again nothing major. I would and have drive this truck anywhere, it is in prefect running and driving condition. I bought a new truck and want it gone!!!

Personally, I don't think you can go wrong. It won't get the best fuel mileage in the world,but hey you ain't buying it for mileage. Those V10's pull great. The repairs/maintenance and tires recently done to it are a big plus,especially the ball joints and tires IMO. ---RED

I think you should ba able to.get $5100 for it

I just sold a 01 just like it with a badlly wounded 7.3 in it for $3600 You shold have no problem at all.

i did buy it for 5000. drove it home from the twin cities hour and 45 min and took it up to the cabin 2hours away from home. ran and drove perfect
noticed it also has new battery and replacemnt ford leaf springs in the back. i want to get the towing mirrors and a front leveling kit, window tint,
and fix the passenger side sticky power door locks. and figure somthing out for 2 exhaust studs that are rusty and have a leak

i think im gonna put 2004 headlights and parking lenses in it to upgrade the looks.

5K is a smokin deal if you ask me.... Let the parts throwing begin. Headlights,CAI,leveling kit,exhaust. Yep you're on your way.
