I dont got no filter just a sealed ps scoop. I got the naaawz too. I promised mycwife ivwould only race on the track when I sold the smallblock car. not woth it anymore unless your putting food on the table. 1330 hp is a pretty serious street car. How well you can use it and your crew prepping your lane is the more important issue. Lits of really fast stuff gets beatvbyva slow car that goes straight. Think peddle fest.

I used to do it not at the level Barney or Tony did but did it still, I think it is not so bad when those participating have some common sense and do it out of harms way of others. We had a couple spots up here out in the middle of nowhere we would race with no worries of hurting anyone other than ourselves. What stopped me was seeing a family of five killed by some idiot street racers down in Rockford. I do have to say they do appear to pick some out the way sites for the races on the show so I don't think it is gonna give the racing community as bad of a black eye as some other shows I have seen about street racing that took place on crowded city streets.

I will watch it granted it is over edited at times but hell it is still fun to watch two cars get it done!

I'm just pretty damn proud of what I built, just like every other guy here. I'm sure the 405 boys are too. As far as being an "internet badass", I served in the Marine Corps for 8 yrs, 6 as a scout-sniper, 2 combat tours and purple heart from getting stabbed in the kidney. I paid my dues to speak what's on my mind. Barney, I've probably seen you run before, I just don't go to the track anymore. I can't stand waiting in the lanes to run. Sorry to act like an ass, but the whole premise of the show pissed me off.

First off. Thank you for your sevice. Dont worry about being an ass. Theres plenty here. You have to keepnin mind its a show. There has to be some hype to draw attention. I have no problem with serious guys getting down on the street. Those guys are well aware the risks and what's at stake. You should be proud of what you've built, but be careful throwing around numbers because they are just numbers its only one factor in many that make up a package. I watch the show because its entrrtaining. No more no less. Like I said earlier what else you gonna do on a monday night until football season starts.
