Destroke Offset grinding a Lunati 4.150 Fordged crank possible? Empty Destroke Offset grinding a Lunati 4.150 Fordged crank possible?

Would it be feasible for a Lunati 4.150 forged crank to be offset ground for less stroke and a 2.100 rod journal. If so will I be able to get a connecting rod and piston to work in a deck height of 10.315? I am upgrading the connecting rods and going to a bigger bore so I figure I might as well slow the piston speed down some more if possible. If not I will wait a little longer and order a billet crank with a custom stroke.

No. Just wanting to turn 8000+ and trying to make sure it lives a long happy life.

We turn our 4.375 stroke BBC's 8000+ every weekend without issue.  I would think 4.15 would be fine.

IMO....keep the 2.2 journal and stroke you have for that rpm. Now while you're changing rods go with the longest you can put in it and get the piston to go with it. I shift @ 7800 with 4.5 stroke.
