carb question

carb question

a buddy of mine has a 1250 dominator. the engine i am building calls for a 1050. but he will sell it to me very cheap.400$. can i jet it down to run a cast iron cobra jet headed 472? will be running it at about 6000 rpm.carb is one year old.thanks,

A 1250 is to big youll be better of with a 1050...

It would probably make good trading material, if it is in good running condition.

he is using the carb now, he wants to go to a pro systems carb.i have known the guy for 20 yrs and he always uses me really good with his used parts.(chevy) so i pass them on to my friends and brother.
i will buy the carb and maybe trade it for what i need. thanks guys. should have it in a week or two.
