It made 954, dyno guy thought it was fat and there was more to get with a highspeed. On the track the temps at the stripe were a good 100* warmer than what it needs to be, I finally got the temps in check but the 6o is a solid tenth and a half off.

I knew the tires were old, and that TVRP starting line sucks, which even ole Ted was off a good bit.

I did get the feel the bump in the left lane at 1000' as I felt the rear tires come off the ground and the datalogger confirms this with a nice 500 rpm spike at that point.

I'm not downing your ride Nick that thing is finally running the numbers a 850 hp plus a power adder car should run.

Bottom line is we are both out making passes trying to go faster and faster. My last pass was against one of the bigtime nitrous locals here, he was running only 1/8 but he stayed in it that run as he doesnt like other cars to come around him, I treed his ass and he put a fender on me and we hung there the whole way, and he aint runnin no little plate system.

when the car went the 5.60 last spring it was with a 1.26, mineshaft air, 4.86 gear and a "liquid torque" M5 tune. Cool


Converter is a bit looser now with the added power, only saw a 900rpm drop on the shift where before it would go 1400

I dont usually get nervous, but man right before I hopped in to take it too the lanes I had the jitters a bit. Once i fired the bitch up all was good, been 6 months, I forgot how hard this thing pulls lol. I'll be bored with it soon............I might need to get a power adder.......... Laughing

the sidewalls are not stiff, no tubes, and they are already hammered from last year. I'll get with Oakley and get some new kicks on the way. I lowered the back end and just like last time it I did it it didnt like it, puts the ladder bar pointing down too far so thats some of it.

I got enough data that I see what I need to work on.

first pass was 11.5 psi, 2nd 11, and the last was 10.5............and it did walk around a good bit that time.

i'm sure you have adj shocks,did you move them any?the strange shocks i got last fall sure work good.did it want to drive to the right a little? it kinda looked like it left and pulled to the right?IMO,looken at video.

They are on the stiff side IIRC, just messed with the fuel system trying to sort it out some, my dyno session did not prove to be any help in the tuning dept lol.

Might need to put a mix of hygard in the tranny lol.

tire temps were in the 180 range, a bit warm, lots of wheelspeed on a highgear burnout lol.

Car has always had the bounce in the rear with a softwall slick. do need to play with the reqar shocks some, the fronts are non adj so they are what they are.

Fire the camera man, needs to put camera on the tire sidewall on the launch, couldn't tell if it was wadding or not.
