Stainless engine bolts

Is there any downside to using stainless bolts for things such as intake,valve covers and water pump?

Only if you don't use anti-seize on them.

Make sure to get good quality bolts, thier is alot of way substandard stuff around.

Sorry, carry on with the stainless bolt thread. we run them in our engine and wheels with thread lock.

Anti seize is always a must ,especially when you use stainless w/alum. Gold for high heat areas. It is money well spent Smile
