I'm having my BBF refreshed right now at a local machine shop and in the process I'm bumping the compression up to 13.6:1. It will be a P-51 headed 552ci with a victor, a 1250 hp dom, C6 w/ UCC 5K stall. Cam is a Kaase grind for the P-51's with 280/286 @ .050 and 760'ish lift on a 109cl. I am considering converting over to alcohol. The car is a bit heavy - 3300lbs. Car is 90% strip with occasional cruise in runs. I run at a mile high local track out here in the desert heat with sh!tty DA. Keeping it cool in classic mustang (read: serious space limitations) for short jaunts on the street is a trick. I'd like to hear from the gurus on this before I pull the trigger. Should I convert it to alcohol or just leave it running on race gas? If I went alcohol could I expect a slight ET gain or likely a loss given the tune gets sorted?

no reason it wont be faster, never seen one that slowed down from alky..................just from my experience.

Not sure you'd want to drive in much on the street that way, but can be done.............
