H.D.R.A. looking for input,

HDRA is regional series that is finishing its first season and looking for input from racers for the following season. This is our current format and some changes we are considering for 2010.

Current Class Structure:
11.99 - 17.99 sportsman tree bracket class
11.60 .400 index class
10.20 .400 index class
8.50 .400 index class


Ideas for 2010:
11.99 - 17.99 sportsman tree bracket class
11.60 .400 index class
10.20 .400 DR/DOT index class
9.60 .400 index class
1/8 mile .400, clocks off, heads up, hat race style race

Any input or opinion is greatly appreciated. We are trying to offer an event that offers something for all types of racer to enjoy. Thanks for your time.

Cordova is an 8 hour haul for me, wish it were closer.

These are the payouts and classes we are running.

Classes will be paid as follow based on a 8 car field, less than 8 cars will pay half of payout amount-
1-4 cars pays winner
5-8 cars pays winner and runner-up
9-32 cars pays winner, runner-up and semi
32-up cars pays winner, runner-up, semi, quarter


Street Muscle - $45 Entry (11.99-17.99 bracket)
Winner- $300, plus Trophy and $1500 contingency certificates
Runner up- $150, plus Trophy and $1500 contingency certificates
Semi- $75 plus $750 Contingency certificates
Quarter- $25 plus $375 Contingency certificates

Street Muscle Xtreme- $65 Entry (6.50-11.99 bracket)
Winner-$500 Plus Trophy and $1500 Contingency certificates
Runner-Up-$250 Plus Trophy and $1500 Contingency certificates
Semi-$125 Plus $750 Contingency certificates
Quarter- $75 plus $375 Contingency certificates

Modified Muscle - $55 Entry (11.60 Index Heads Up)

Quarters-$50 plus $375 Contingency certificates

Pro Muscle - $65 Entry (10.20 Index Heads Up)

Semi-$125 Plus $750 Contingency certificates

Ultimate Muscle - will not be ran. Instead will be replaced with Midwest Super Stock Mafia.
MSSM racers will be awarded a trophy for Best Burnout and Best Wheelstand
