TNT 3-20-11 *Update 4-4-11 Good News

Not a bad day until run #6. I think I broke a rocker arm. 6.11 and 6.12 all the rest of the runs. The air was not near as good as last time when I ran 6.06. I guess I'l never see 6.00 with this motor.


4-4-11 Got it apart tonight and I have good news. I can't find anything wrong except a polyloc backed off on #4, exhaust. It was a turn and half loose. All the rest were a little loose. I took the rocker off and inspected it well and could find nothing wrong. I checked the pushrod and spring and all looks perfect. It looks like I'm KY. bound in 4 weeks.

Oh and also found the lock nut backed off my throttle pedal stop. It was a turn and a half toward the pedal off full throttle. It's always the stupid crap you never think to check with me. I will not get to test again before Ky. so look out, it might just run 5's after all.

I'm sorry to hear about your bad luck. If, if you broke a rocker arm, there is a good chance that you may have bent a valve also(above the guide). Please check your heads over, and if you bent a valve let me know, I'll take care of you. Or if you want, just send me the heads and I'll check them out and repair as necessary.

I could not possibly look prettier than Chuck !!!!!!!!!

I can't take a look until we get my buddies car of the rack. Maybe next weekend.
