Combo suggestions needed

I am pretty much having a 73 Ranchero GT dropped in my lap here, original motor is a 351 Cleveland but it's on an engine stand and in pieces so I'm thinking that you can never go wrong with more cubes, especially in an old heavy car like the Ranchero. I intend to use it as a cruiser/parts chaser/El Camino killer, pretty much everything a Ranchero is supposed to do.

750 Holley
Weiand Stealth
D3ve heads with 2.19in/1.80ex and stud mount 1.73 roller rockers
??? COMP Cams 34-235-4 ???
??? pistons ???
Rebuilt d1ve short block, nice and clean nothing too fancy really
??? long tube headers ???

C6 with Broader Performance "500 HP" rebuild kit and 2k stall
9" with 3.00 gears and a track lok if I can find one for a good price

a set of budget hyper FT's would work well IMO Get you in the 9.5:1 range

What is most appropriate for you depends totally upon how much money you have to spend.

Spend your budget mostly all in one place and the whole combination may suffer.
