Color for the truck??

I have in mind a blue similar like what is on it now. The Toyota "Speedway blue" on their new cars and trucks looks good. Anybody have any ideas and/or pics of medium blue with a color name and/or paint code? I also seen a metallic candy-type red today that looked good. I just feel like a 1974 F100 won't look good with real flashy colors. Any ideas?

I really like the Blue Flame Met. It really caught my eye first time I saw it. Was planning on painting my pulling truck that color till I run outta funds and my body man got me some black for $80 and had the clear so it was quick and cheap.

Sounds cool ............. but no Toyota shyt

The new dragster and the wife's new truck are Blue flame metallic...It's a great shade of blue, almost has a "pearl" look to it in the sunight.

I vote for blue too, maybe with some white stripes.

I'm for blue also. Saw this new Rator today and the blue was nice, but that was under lights and not sunlight.

If you're looking for something non-metallic, Grabber blue is always a good choice.

I like Deepwater Blue. Its the blue the new Ram's have.

I am kind of partial to "electric blue with a pearl coat," even though its a dodge color.

My 68 mustang was royal blue with pearl metallic,not much metallic though.If I'm not mistaken it was a ford color too.I really liked the color. The Toyota color looks good too.---RED

Thanks for the ideas guys! I'm going to cruise the dealerships and see what jumps out at me. I like the Ford truck blue and the 'yota blue. Grabber blue looks good and I considered it for my new mustang. I just feel it's a bit too much like sky blue for me. I think I will stay will a medium blue and forget the red. The truck body is a POS and needs a darker metallic to cover up all the imperfections.

When we was checking the paint code for my pulling truck we found out it has lots of "pearl" in it.

I vote a metallic blue. But I might be a bit bias. Sorry I don't know if I have better pics.
I finally got a handle on posting pictures.

Hey David, how about Kona Blue? It's a 2010 Shelby color. I was gonna use it on another project after I sold the Banana, but now that I have it back, I scrapped the other project. Here's a link to the car that gave me the idea.

Keep in mind that the white roof may save you from a heat stroke while at the track. I don't know how guys survive with black cars. They look great, but dang.......

I thought about sonic blue and arizna beige combo for my truck. Would look good on yours

I vote for any deep blue, or flat black, or gloss black.

The blue on my car is called neptune's jewel it is a dupont hot hues color.

that would look sweet going with a factory retro color or my second choice would be the blue on the T/S Mustang metioned in one of the previous posts
