Re: New year, New Build
Ah, we all had fun, I made enough cash to pay for the fuel home, it was great getting the car back out after a year. Everybody had their share of problems, and everybody dealt with them well enough to be competitive. I would of loved to be able to spray the shit out of it, but it's on me not having the converter right, I'll get it straightened out and hopefully scare the shit out of myself. All in all I'm happy with the car ran, and didn't break anything. Learned a lot about the new combo, and where I need to focus my attention. I was impressed with everyone's stuff given the conditions, and how close we all ended up being with all the different combos.richter69 wrote:just like you have no idea how bad I could have kicked yours........................................but we didn't now did we?

Re: New year, New Build
your fk'n dream'n hErO! you had a little traction issue, very little. on a tight track you may or may not have beat me,your hot rod with spray aint been much faster than mine.Barney ,on the other hand, had a real problem with the converter.he may have had traction issues too but he damn sure had the power! let me put it another way,he'd kicked all our asses! i have the time slip for that 1st pass hErO,you did get there first, with you blistering 5.79 i think it was my trans brake had a problem cuz of low fluid.you bring out the best in me hErO,that pass was the most mph i had all weekend.richter69 wrote:just like you have no idea how bad I could have kicked yours........................................but we didn't now did we?

Jason you gonna have the converter sorted out by August 25th? You know you will more than likely be lining up next to that famous Blue car.

Re: New year, New Build
Coulda, shoulda, woulda... I shoulda tested it more before June, so I coulda hosed the sh&t out of it, and maybe I woulda made some noise. At the end of it all, it ran faster on motor than my last combo spraying the rods out of it. It got down the track every pass, and went in the trailer under its own power. I.d consider that a success for the second time out with the combo. Don't fret I'll be back and I'll have something for your azzes. My shitbox was in the mix set on mooooo, it'll be ugly when I put it on send these bitc$es home.cool40 wrote:your fk'n dream'n hErO! you had a little traction issue, very little. on a tight track you may or may not have beat me,your hot rod with spray aint been much faster than mine.Barney ,on the other hand, had a real problem with the converter.he may have had traction issues too but he damn sure had the power! let me put it another way,he'd kicked all our asses! i have the time slip for that 1st pass hErO,you did get there first, with you blistering 5.79 i think it was my trans brake had a problem cuz of low fluid.you bring out the best in me hErO,that pass was the most mph i had all weekend.richter69 wrote:just like you have no idea how bad I could have kicked yours........................................but we didn't now did we?

That's the plan I went at the truck with a holesaw and a sawzall didn't get to Lefthander to pick up a 4x8 sheet of lexan like I wanted today though. You coming next weekend Jason? Dan I will give you a call.
