Yep someone's been busy, and like compression.cool40 wrote:somebody cut the **** outa them or i guess they may have came that small but mine are 95cc with ti valves.i'll probly take .050 off mine anyway, the intake valve pocket sure makes a big hole in the dome.lol.Barney wrote:We CCd them they have a 76cc Chamber, and they are Eliminator heads not EX 514 heads. With that CC compression will be a tick over 16/1, not 15/1.cool40 wrote:pic's! the EX heads have a small chamber? i was thinking they do..............

Re: New year, New Build
Ended up going with a EX514 single dominator intake which should arrive soon and my Eliminator block will be here first week of March. Just updating.

This thing is spiraling of the budget trail, oh well it's just money, I'll make more tomorrow.

Yep, the if I'm gonna do this, I might as well do that game has begun. What started out relatively simple is now making me wonder if cocaine is a more financially responsible habit...

When I finally get it to the track and make a pass it seems to ease the pain almost completely, and the faster I go the better it gets.................
I'm hoping to be completely pain free here in a few months.

I'm with ya. If it goes the number(or even close) it will all be worth it and then some.

I added the tally up from this winters upgrades, I'm pretty sure I could buy the majority of the parts needed for your new build............. its all worth it though when you turn the tb button loose though...........

Re: New year, New Build
I knew it wouldn't be cheap, thank goodness all I needed was a motor and trans( the rest of the car was already upgraded), but between the motor and tranny I could've bought a small island in the Carribean.
Re: New year, New Build
Got the balancer, valve covers, crank is on the way, carb is on the way, block should be here first week of March, switching from the steel rods to BME aluminum, gotta get a mold made of the combustion chamber to send to Diamond, lately been thinking about rockers and valvetrain. I spoke with Yella Terra this week about their single shaft rockers and there seems to be some concern about geometry and the lift we intend to use so I will probably go with TD shafts. I'm getting the car wrapped in march then it will mocked up and off to the header shop. Gonna get hectic soon. Oh btw the steel rods are for sale $500 if anyone's interested.
