The first connection broke which required the design and implementation of the second connection on there now.

Here's the coupler. The back engine has a Lima steel crank with the big snout and a double keyed crank hub.

I'm guessing the rear engine has the starter that fires both up?
That's got to be a beast of a starter if I'm guessing right.

It does now. I did have two flexplates and two mini starters, but took the front starter and flexplate off this weekend. It actually starts good off one. Hopefully losing a little rotating mass and weight will give me a little more. It went 5.89@117 the weekend after this was filmed.
