Block Prep ? Empty Block Prep ?

Post  R_Williams December 17th 2010, 1:50 am

What kind of block preparation would need to be done for using a stock or 72 460 block with a 545 stroker. The block I should be getting has already been vated with new bearings and bored 030 over. Any notching or other prep that would have to be done? Still toying with going with the stroker or just doing the 466.............................

drop it in and check the clearances , it ain't a chevy! a .030" and a 4.5" arm fits in any 385 series block but you need to get your fingers off the keyboard and into the engine!!
