Went from 3.55's to 4.10's ad DANG!

What a major difference....... I never realized what a turd the truck was before. It's much happier now..... and so am I......

Nothing better than some torque multiplication to give it a kick in the pants.

my 93 crew has 4.10's factory....plenty of torque!...no gas milage

Greg,I did the same thing and I could not believe the difference. It also upped my fm from 17 to 19.5 mpg. Different truck completely

looks like that would kill fuel milage.

I have noticed that now the truck does seem to get better mileage. Very odd. I think it was always under boost at low rpm before. Now it cruises at 1800-2000 rpm and the engine seems really a lot happier than the 1500 or so it would do before.

On my 95 powerstroke I changed from 4.10 to 3.73 and it helped my fuel mileage out on the highway but around town i think it dropped alittle

What size tires are you running? You may need a little more to get you back to being right.

What year truck are we talking about here?

Mines a 97

Did you switch the speedo gear?

no gear, reads of the VSS.........................

The TS chip I just put in has helped out quite a bit as well. The trans shift points are much better for towing now.
