ok, talked with Jon Kaase today and he told me to use harland sharp , he said they had the rocker arm for these heads. Called Harland Sharp and they have a head specific arm for these heads, HS#S4073 for $334.95 Anyone use these on scj heads?

Harland Sharp is the only stud rocker that I have ran with zero failures.

No, I think everything I have ran was the 4005?. Kaase might have tweeked something for the better with the newer part number.

If he suggested it, it must be right. After all, he designed the head.

YES ... those are the rockers we helped get specially designed for the intakes on SCJ heads; (with the correct length pushrod, they work fine on the exhaust side, too) ... they are slightly different than the S4005 rockers that Harland Sharp normally lists for the big block Ford.

Personally, I get one set of each and use the S4073's on the intake and the S4005's on the exhausts when there is more than one engine to build using those heads.

cool thanks for info, just talked with a local shop and they can get me these rocker arms for $300, looks like a good deal to me and solve some of my issues. Cool
