Just seen on one of the episodes last night on Varleys car, it looked like there was a Jon Kaase license plate on the front of the gold car. I guess that a good thing to get national advertisement for Jon, but I wish it would be on a better Ford than Varleys!
First race they won because of redlight, 2nd race they got beat.

That whole clan seem to be a bunch of clowns (Varley).....until they get their shit together, they shouldn't even be on the list at this point IMO

I would be willing to bet the Mustang has a GM power plant in it................   If it does I hope it never wins a race.

its got a Kasse built p51 headed deal in it, made 950 on the dyno n/a. Has a big fogger on it too.

Shelby drove it at. the track a few weeks ago, went some 5.90s on motor..... turned on the spray and outdid yours truely and destroyed the bottom side of the car on landing.

The car even has it's own website www.thegoldcar.com it has a picture of the dyno sheet posted. I agree it doesn't seem to run that good for have all the good stuff. But then again what do I know???

That car just plain doesn't work. I don't care what power it makes. In a 660 ft race a car that don't work is useless. Varley being a douche is a totally different problem.

The show sure has gotten alot easier too watch this season imo. Not near as much dumb shit showing. Say what you want,but the top guy's know how to get the cars down the road.

Oh, I agree.  There's some bad rides there for sure.  Trouble is, the show is scripted like other "reality" shows and comes off as so much BS.

Example:  When those guys sneak one car out on a deserted road for a test hit, the cops are on 'em like a chicken on a junebug.  But when a crowd of guys with trucks, trailers and 12 badass racecars block off a section of highway, complete with adequate lighting for good camera shots and run their own personal eliminations ladder complete with high dollar betting, all they're lacking is a tower and a concession stand...and the cops are "none the wiser".   

The cars are high buck and fast.  The scripting is bullshit.

Anonymous tip for OKC police: Look for the bright lights and camera crews...You could catch some guys engaged in a highly illegal activity.

Not a big secret that when the racing goes down, it's on a closed road, with permission from the police... When they came to Texas a while back for the No Prep race, they didn't fare to well.

But what do you want to see? A shitty camera phone video of mostly someones feet or the stars and a guy say "oh shit man! Did you see that bitch check out!" Or some sort of realistic street race where you can make heads or tales of what the hell is going on? Ill take the later
