I love the rear cage support bar layout from the top of the main hoop to the top of the tubs. Instead of the more common way of bending the bar in a loop over the top of the tubs, he cut/welded bars to make the same shape, but with steeper outward angles much like the way Tim McAmis does his chassis.

Very nice. Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

I've got Mustang envy Laughing . That's going to be a nice piece. The guy who built my car just finished up an 09' for a customer. I love the new body style.

He mentioned the body coming from Rousch.

That thing looks killer. I'm envious... There is a local guy who has a new 2010 built by Eastexas Racecars. It's a sweet piece!

The body is from ford racing and roush racing. it actually has a ford part number cast into the fiberglass. i'm pretty sure they are the only company licensed to build the 2010 mustang bodies. it's basically a pro stock body, but fiberglass rather than carbon fiber

Sure, it's Tony Bischoff's motor he ran in his cougar in ADRL (someone else bought the cougar and they needed a bigger power plant to compete) with 2 less stages of nitrous and a slightly smaller cam. It's a 645 inch, C&C motorsports block, thor gen 1 heads, 2 pro systems dominators, Comp Cam, star vaccum pump, barnes oil pump, etc. 3 stages of speed tech nitrous.
Bischoff builds a heck of a motor and he is also a super nice guy.

The engine dynoed 1295 HP @ 7400 and 960 lb-ft or torque @ 5600

I thought it looked familiar, same engine he had in the NMRA when we ran Pro 5.0. That is a stout piece. Thanks for sharing. Cool

Thanks guys,

The last of the stuff that needs mounted to the chassis is here. There is one more relay for the nitrous system, the fuel log, and the rear exit cable shifter(the one in the pics is front exit and won't work). The convertor showed up from neil chance too. we are really coming to the home stretch here. We are taking this stuff up to the chassis shop thursday and they will hopefully be ready to send it to powder coat by early next week.

I don't know if i've mentioned that it's being built at advanced chassis, but if i haven't i should have. they have been great. top notch work and very friendly and easy to deal with. www.advancedchassisusa.net they are located in north west ohio.
