Ran my best time and mph today

The track was packed with around 125 racers so I only made 4 passes. Kind of crazy for a TnT day.
The new best time is 12.17 at 107mph. Not much better than the 12.21 the last time out but still better.
Last week I swapped my 6al for a msd digital 6 box (thanks Nick). It has the adjustable 2 step built in. So I tried chaging my launch rpm's while on the trans brake. Started with 3800 and went to 4400rpm in 200rpm steps.
My plan was to improve on my 60ft times. It didn't work.
All 4 60ft times were between 1.62 and 1.63 seconds.
I'm lost as to what rpm setting I should have on the 2 step.

Mike any tenths you cut off the time is good when you get to where you can't cut anymore off it time think more HP. Keep working on it you get there if the winter don't catch you 1st then they is always next year.I hope to carry mine back once more this year they have the track open all winter as long as the weather permits.But have trucks/van tags due next month then land tax in Dec so 1 more time for me this year will probley all I can do. But I wasn't looking to get to run it until next year anyway but got lucky I guess to get to run it this year.

great progress Mike ... ive notice that when i lower my launch it will flash the convertor more and leave more violent but thats with my tight 4200 deal

No bad lifters Al.
Those Crane fast bleed lifters have a soft spring in them. The lifter in question had bled down.
Last night I went back out to check things again and they all had bled down and felt the same.

It sure had me spooked though

I think there's a little daylight under them front tires .
It might be time to limit the front travel. I don't want to pull the guts out of my shocks.
