IF YOU OWN A FOX BODY WITH ROLL CAGE CLICK HERE!

I'VE GOT A 88 STANG NEED TO KNOW IF YOU THINK I NEED THE MOTOR MOUNTS ON MY CHASIS OR DO I CUT THEM OUT AND JUST USE THE MOTOR PLATE OR LEAVE THEM,AND FIGHT THE HEADERS WHEN THEY GET INSTALLED, ALSO DOES THE FRONT SWAY BAR COME OUT FOR THE MOTOR PLATE TO BE MOUNTED ????(I HAVE THE 460 SWAP MOUNT'S AND STOCK K MEMBER)WHAT'S YOUR TAKE?????

I took the mounts out and just use the plate.

Plate. For back half cars i only use a plate in the front,makes life very easy for headers,and less starter problems ect. full chassie id use both

sway bar can stay if you want it to,but most of the time we leave them out

The front/mid plate is a winner in any combo..............but the midplate needs to be designed and installed in a proper manner.

C6 with fron- mid plates and no tranny crossmember is fine, but again it needs a well designed and installed plate.

My Tbird is a fox body and I have a front plate and a crossmember under my c-6 with no midplate .
Bird runs 11.5's pulling the wheels all day !

If your going to invest the time & effort of installing a front plate, you might as well finish the job 100% & install a mid plate too while your at it. Wink
