Are you wanting strut bars through the firewall and all ?
I would take on a project like this if you bought a kit and brought it all to me. It would be some where around $800 labor if the car is stripped and dash out.

That's a damn good price he's offering you on the cage fit/Tig labor, I couldn't do it for that amount.

Yep its a damn good price 
a lot of people don't relize how much time it takes to do a cage right be it mig or tig.
