heads of header

is it worth opening up your header went racing or running open cut out. my exhaust system is 3" with h pipe into summit cheapo turbo with turn down. header are reflanged summit brand bbc 1 3/4" to 3 1/2 collector. was think of putting elec. dumps on if it will help. has anyone ran with them or is just taking exhaust off at track better

Motor needs to be tuned to run without an exhaust to get the best performance.

im aware the tune may be different it changes of day to day 60 degree is different then 90 is running dumps worth anything

IMO I wouldn't waste the time. Plus their are alot of good race mufflers avaliable.
