Wow that brings back a combo i was gonna do 17 years ago thats sorta like this,it was a 351w using cleveland heads i still have a new B&A performance track boss intake, custom dome pistons, rings and new rods. Funny how ya forget about stuff you stashed away years ago

Hope I'm not highjacking too severely, but I have a 351-C question.
Rather ask here.
Will a 4" crank with 2.100 SBC journals and steel rods require much grinding,
typically, on the cylinder bore bottoms ?
Thanks,
JB Rossit

never done the 4" stroke but would think it was a bolt in . plus for the C block oil pan rail to pan rail is wider than the W and the crank C/L to cam C/L is greater

CHI intake. By far the best out there now. The new eddy intake is okay but is still far behind.

the CHI needs no machine work except maybe a port match and the flow numbers are ridiculous. the eddy piece is a great piece. never used it in a cleveland build but seen it work on yates stuff with great success.

I would say more than that but I don't know the numbers. I have seen them on victor headed motors and not be a restriction out of the box.

Ford Performance Solutions, i wont name the person , but said the chi 3v needs a lot of work on a 800 horsepower engine , I have a AFD intake a funnel web and now a 2863 , i was told that the afd, funnel web and the chi was all about the same. he said to mill the sides and do some mild porting on the 2863 and it would get the job done. i have also thought about adapting a 2828 edelbrock with some price motorsports plates.
If fact that the chi 3v is a better choice i will sale these i have, and get a chi.
please get me in the right direction, thanks
