First of all great build!
I learn new things everyday from this site. With that said I have a question about the compression ratio. At 11.7:1 how is it possibly to run pump gas? I thought the general rule of thumb was anything under 11 can run pump gas but nothing over 11. Thanks

Kinda more too it than just static comp ratio...
aluminium heads and lots of overlap definitely help.

Sorry fellas..nothing to update as if yet. I took a new job out of state that has me working 80+ hrs a week.
I did however purchase an E4OD tranny and have hooked up w fabio on some better internals for it.
Hoping to drive the crap out of it someday soon...
Now that we have the OD tranny I might just have to see what an F100 drives like at 200mph. Lol

Can't wait to see it in action, curios what kind of times you will be running with it. Very healthy engine for sure!

That manifold will work on an A headed engine on up to 600+ inches. A good cleaning and smoothing of the runners, and blending the roof into your spacer would be all I would do.
Any porting other than port matching my hurt air speed on your pump gas deal.
JMHO.

Firebird Raceway
Great to see you are still messing around with the truck. I remember seeing you run more than once 7-8yrs ago at Firebird. Look forward to hearing what the truck ends running with the current set-up..............

Truck is looking good as always. Those e4ods are pretty tough. I have one in my daily driver 96 F150 with 360,000 miles and it has never been rebuilt. I put a victor jr headed 357w in it and it slipped bad. Installed a Punisher valve body and the thing shifts awesome no joke. Now to see if it can handle some juice lol.
Now that you took some weight out of the truck you should put the rear bumper back on. Looks better and it is weight in the right place.
