All this is why I was led to buy my 95 f350 dually with the BBF. The heaviest load yet is a old 24' enclosed with a whole car and lots of parts shoved in it. I don't care much for the new stuff either.

I roll 80 down the turnpike, it a 75 speed limit.........any slower you'll get the f-ck run over.......I have seen guys trying to pull a camper up a hill at 20mph and they got traffic backed up a 1/4 mile................The tards that cant run the speed limt or even 15mph of it because they were a tight ass and didn't buy enough truck are the ones who cause most of the accidents................. Razz

You don't have "Hill's" in Oklahoma..... "more like A cups".....

BS the 5.4's and 6.2's are plenty of motor to tow any tag trailer. Like I've said it a freaking ego problem that people thing they to hit warp speed towing a trailer. But I do agree the Diesels tow great, they just are not needed and not economical for a guy with an enclosed race car trailer heading to the local track 2-3 times a month in the summer.

But hey its your money if you want to waste it on the biggest and baddest truck..... Me I'll leave 15 minutes earlier to get to the track and drive responsibly.

Well decided to fix myself calling bullet proof 6.0 and going to replace EGR COOLER and put external oil cooler and fix all the dummy plugs and snap ring hpop fitting i think the injectors are okay just probably a deal with the leak because they say all injectors on same side that are showing weak. so probably just trying to get some cash off me. Wish me luck first diesel motor i have ever worked on but i can put a BBF together blindfolded so hopefully no problems

thanks, my dad is lending me his Dodge to drive while mine is in the shop, having to pull the race car out to put the F350 in so i figure i will take it slow and work on the weekends until i get it finished.

You know, I was the first to jump on the bash the diesel train, until I got my 4 door short bed F-250 97 Power stroke 241,000 miles. It's the best dang truck I have ever driven, (except for my 02 lightning)

This truck is not too bad to service, filters are not too high and the only thing that is really bad on the pocket book is the 14 qt's of oil.
It got 18 mpg going to Columbus this weekend.

And with the Baby Swamps and the 6 position chip in tow-mph setting it will pull the hitch off the trailer. I set the cruise at 75 mph and let her eat. I have yet to have to down shift with my 24 ft inclosed trailer. Next addition will be a 2003 inter-cooler, Y pipe, and manifolds.

With the chip in the #6 position it will build 45 lb of boost and accelerate like a car.

I know Dave , I'm compensating............... Laughing

I am with some of the others though on buying a new diesel, (doubt I will ever do that)
