well got that block , in previous post the d1ve 4 bolted block , gonna do a 547 ,..... 4.5 crank, 6.8 rod , .040
12.1 compression
my dove c heads were ported and have 2.250 intake valves
was told they flowed 340 cfm prob should get flowed to get it verified but thery are heavly ported by the looks
and spring pockets were done and told valve springs were good to .750 lift ?? going off of word of the guy i know(local) that i purchased from him
id like to find a cam for use with nitrous 200-250 shot , using a nitrous friendly converter , glide t brake want to go thru traps no more than 6800-7k max prob run out of steam before then , i have a vic intake also im using .....gotta order crank and pistons have a set of rods already .
hopping to get together for racing in the spring thnaks for any help or suggestions on the cam

Maybe I could be way out of line but I have messed with Dove ported heads for several years in race applications and I have never seen a D0VE head flow anywhere near 340cfm. I had a good set of D0VE's and they only flowed 308cfm@800

Yep ... I've done some D3 iron Super Stock heads with stock production valve sizes and port volumes which flowed 335 on the intake side.

I had a set of DOVE's that Doug Roope did a long time ago that were at 340cfm on the intake side. He did them according to Mad Porter's site.
